The structure used for programmatic calculation of State and Regional point tabulation is defined below. Placings in Championship and Jackpot classes earn 50% bonus points (added to point value schedules).
Program Managers no longer receive results directly from the shows. It is now member or agent responsibility to track and report show results by rider or horse to the program by June 30th and November 30th of each season.
See below for a downloadable High-Point Tracking Log that you or your trainer can use to track points by show and submit to ASHAG for semi-annual points reporting (Results can be submitted in EMAIL or via US Mail).

Class S (1 Day Shows):
1st Place = 8 Points, 2nd Place = 7 Points, 3rd Place = 6 Points, 4th Place = 5 Points,
5th Place = 4 Points, 6th Place = 3 Points, 7th place = 2 Points, 8th place = 1 point
Class R (2-4 Day Shows):
1st Place = 16 Points, 2nd Place = 14 Points, 3rd Place = 12 Points, 4th Place = 10 Points,
5th Place = 8 Points, 6th Place = 6 Points, 7th place = 4 points, 8th place = 2 points
Class W (5 or More Day Shows):
1st Place = 24 Points, 2nd Place = 21 Points, 3rd Place = 18 Points, 4th Place = 15 Points,
5th Place = 12 Points, 6th Place = 9 Points, 7th place = 6 points, 8th place = 3 points
